The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) hosts the prestigious ”Green Talents – International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development” to promote the international exchange of innovative green ideas. The award, under the patronage of Minister Anja Karliczek, honours young international researchers each year. The winners come from numerous countries and scientific disciplines and are recognised for their outstanding achievements in making our societies more sustainable. Selected by a jury of German experts the award winners are granted unique access to the country’s research elite.
Do you know an up-and-coming scientist abroad or someone living in your country of origin with inventive ideas and a strong focus on sustainable development? Does his or her research have the potential to change the world? Please, forward this information and the attached flyer to befriended scientists, who fullfill the following requirements:
- at least Master student´s degree or PhD degree (may not date back more than three years)
- focus on sustainability research
- no resident in Germany, no German passport, but international applicants from all over the world
- good English skills
The winners will be invited to Germany for a biweekly science forum, during which they visit important stations in German sustainability research and meet German experts for one-on-one discussions.
